The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center celebrate wind concertos as part of their Baroque Festival. During the Baroque period, composers explored new ways of writing for wind instruments, affording wind players an equal place with string players at the musical table. With wind soloists in every work, this program illuminates a golden musical era from a sonically refreshing and delightful perspective.
