GRAMMY Award and Pulitzer Prize–nominated composer Andy Akiho and Guggenheim Award–winning photographer Stuart Rome share an immersive collaboration that pairs music and photography inspired by ancient trees. With performances featuring Dover Quartet, Ian Rosenbaum, and Kristin Lee, Oculus reveals the mystical world of nature through inspired musical visions of roots, nighttime walks, and the geometrical binding that we all share. A twist of fate brings together Akiho and Rome, who encountered each other at the American Academy of Rome and were immediately drawn to each other's work.
